Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Tada, it was the HD. Josh changed it, brought back all our files and junk from the backup, and it's sparkly and fast again.




I love my intelligent husband. I was ready to cry and say we have to take it in to be fixed somewhere, and he donned his Cape of Awesome and said, "It's the hard drive Carol! I'll just fly over to Best Buy, buy a replacement, and fix it for you!"


So he did. :D Except he drove, but.. you know.


So, I'm back to bl.. Sorry, corny song lyrics keep coming to mind.

Haha, I'm memorable like that :p
Viruses can be nasty, but they're usually cheaper to fix (unless it's one of the evil ones that corrupts your BIOS, but I don't think those exist for Mac). At least hardware failure is straightforward enough :D

Yesyes, corrupted hard drives can cripple computers. Luckily I broke mine on warranty, but warranty is up now so I have to be nice to my lappy!

Woop! Our warranty ended in Nov of last year, figures. :P But oh well, $50 for a replacement isn't too bad. Our keyboard went less than a year after we got our computer and that alone was $50.. which I thought was ridiculous, but at the same time I <3 my keyboard, it's so small and pretty. *pets it*
