A request from NSHC. The person who wanted it wanted a black andy-type horse, perhaps with a dark background, little woeful...

I don't know about the darkness, but hopefully I was able to capture some of the woeful side.

I had a lot of fun with this pic. I made up a few different backgrounds before I finally pieced this one together and decided to run with it. It needed a lot of smoothing out as I didn't scale the images down at all, save for the sky, which is unlike me... But hey, it gave me some pretty close-up shots. :D

And personal stock. Some aspects of the image were painted on, but mostly it's a straight manip enhanced by my pen... which I also managed to lose and my two year old found for me. Then chewed on it.

I really like this...very emotive and you deff captured the woeful idea. I really love how you smoothed everything out to give it an almost painted quality. Very nice. Only criticism I would make is that perhaps the rocky area to the right of the image isn't casting quite the same amount of shadow as the horse. But that's only really a minor thing.
